It is quite an experience to take a shower in an orphanage! The big window only has lace curtains, and the shower has no curtain and of course cold water! I do not mind the cold water as it warm enough here. The crowning part of the experience is no lock on the door! I am usually up before the cows so even they do not get a peek!
I did not get a chance to blog yesterday as the last of the older boys where still here and of course the “American” room was the party room. When my own kids have friends over I usually do not let them game so much but where it was their last day here ( or so we thought) I let them game all day. I fact when they left for lunch I tried to write, but when they came back so fast and they were laughing over my slow typing skills I gave up! I noticed this last bunch to leave seem to be the brightest and some of the nicest of the older boys it fact I did not see them before. When I took a picture of them I decided to call them my “should have been Stripling Warriors” I did not let the party go to long tonight as I am not sleeping after about 2 in the morning so am pretty tired. I have played a few hundred games of Uno and wished I had more games to play with them. Yesterday at lunch Derrick and I got to eat with the kids (With only a few kids to fed they took mercy on us. ) Our cold food is getting old. The food is good. The bathrooms are not! I will have to post pic later as I do not want to use up all of our precious internet sending them you as you pay by the “byte” and until we get back to a city I do hoard them.
